The Reality

Campaign work is high stakes and high intensity. Deadlines don't move. Voters don't wait. The urgency is real.

And somewhere along the way, that urgency can turn into a culture. Skipping meals. Running on caffeine and adrenaline. Celebrating exhaustion as dedication. Treating rest like something you haven't earned yet.

Maybe you've noticed it in yourself. Snapping at a teammate over something small. Forgetting things you'd normally track without thinking. Feeling numb toward work you used to care about deeply. Running on fumes and calling it commitment.

What if resilience wasn't about getting better at pushing through? What if it was about getting better at recognizing what's happening, and knowing what to do next?

That's what this masterclass is for.

What We'll Explore

A practical, grounded session built for the field.

01 · ROOT

Ground Yourself

Recognize campaign pressure for what it is. Understand your own stress response.

02 · RELATE

Build Your Conditions

Look honestly at individual versus organizational responsibility. Build boundaries that actually protect your capacity. Find the collective support that's already around you.

03 · RISE

Sustain Your Capacity

Practical self-care that fits inside a campaign schedule. Micro-practices you can use in real time. Systems built for the long game, not just this cycle.

04 · Your Resilience Map

A personal planning exercise. You'll leave with a concrete plan.

Your Resilience Map

You won't just hear ideas. You'll leave with a plan.

The Resilience Map is a personal planning exercise built into the session, with five parts:

  • My Warning Signs: how I know I'm approaching depletion or overload
  • My Non-Negotiables: what I need in order to function sustainably
  • My Support Network: who can support me, check in, cover for me, or help me stay grounded
  • My Reset Plan: what I will do when I notice my warning signs
  • My Next 48 Hours: one concrete action I will take immediately to protect my capacity

You'll walk out with a plan you can actually use this week, not a worksheet you file away.

Who This Is For

Campaigners, organizers, and mission-driven leaders working in high-pressure environments who want practical tools to sustain themselves through the work, not after it ends.

If you're in the middle of a campaign, contract fight, or organizing push right now, this is built for you.

What You'll Leave With

  • A clearer understanding of your own stress signals
  • Tools for grounding and resetting during campaign chaos
  • A clearer sense of your boundaries and non-negotiables
  • A support network you can intentionally lean on
  • Your own personal Resilience Map
  • One concrete action to take in the next 48 hours

About The Facilitator

Biola Jeje

I work at the intersection of organizational wellness and strategic communications, helping campaigners and leaders build teams and narratives that hold under pressure.

I'm a former Communications Director and 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with over a decade of experience in high-stakes political campaigns and mission-driven organizations across the United States.

Having operated in fast-paced, high-conflict environments myself, I understand how burnout, turnover, and communication breakdown affect both people and outcomes.

Through my work with Mercurial Flow, I bring together nervous-system-informed practices, embodied leadership, and strategic communication tools to help teams reduce burnout, navigate conflict, and sustain their impact.

Boundaries are not walls. They're the conditions under which you can do your best work.
Taking care of yourself is part of the work, not a reward at the end of it.
This isn't individual self-help. It's political infrastructure.
Resilience isn't yours to carry alone.

You'll also leave with a simple One-Minute Reset you can use anytime stress stacks up: between calls, after a hard conversation, or before a big moment.

You do not have to lose yourself in order to stay committed to the work.
